In January, EUMMAS officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Economics and Finance (UEF), Vietnam, welcoming a new partner from one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic higher-education ecosystems. The partnership represents another step in expanding the consortium beyond Europe and strengthening cooperation with fast-growing academic markets in Asia.
A modern business-oriented university in Vietnam
Located in Ho Chi Minh City, UEF is a specialized university focused on business, economics, technology, and international education. The institution integrates applied learning, corporate cooperation, and international exposure into its teaching model, aligning graduates with real labour-market demands.
UEF offers a wide portfolio of study programmes across business and technology disciplines, including business administration, marketing, finance and banking, international business, logistics and supply chain management, data science, digital marketing, fintech, information technology, and artificial intelligence.
This interdisciplinary orientation makes UEF particularly compatible with the EUMMAS mission — connecting management education with practice, innovation, and industry.

Internationalisation and industry integration
A defining feature of UEF is its strong emphasis on international cooperation and work-integrated learning. The university maintains numerous exchange initiatives and partnerships while embedding career orientation, internships, and corporate collaboration into the curriculum.
Through dedicated centres for corporate relations, innovation, and skills development, students are prepared not only academically but professionally, closely aligning with EUMMAS certification and professional development frameworks.
What the cooperation means
With the signed MoU, both institutions will collaborate on:
- joint academic and research initiatives
- student mobility and exchange opportunities
- professional certifications and lifelong learning
- conferences, workshops, and scientific projects
- development of global business competencies
For EUMMAS, this partnership strengthens presence in Asia and creates new opportunities for members and students to engage with emerging markets. For UEF, the cooperation opens access to European academic networks, certification pathways, and international professional communities.
A growing global academic network
The addition of UEF confirms the strategic direction of EUMMAS — building a truly global academic consortium that connects Europe with Asia, the Middle East, and other regions through practical, industry-relevant management education.
We are proud to welcome the University of Economics and Finance to the EUMMAS Academic Consortium and look forward to concrete joint activities already planned for the upcoming academic year.
