We’re thrilled to reflect on the success of the Business and Public Administration Forum held as part of the EUMMAS A2S Conference Bucharest 2024. Themed “Innovative Strategies for Sustainable Development: Business and Governance Perspectives,” this forum convened experts to explore groundbreaking approaches to sustainable development.
The panel discussions delved into the implementation of circular economy principles in both business operations and public policies to minimize resource consumption and waste generation. Moreover, collaborative approaches among businesses, governments, and civil society to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were explored. Integration of sustainability metrics and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria into corporate governance and public sector performance evaluation was discussed. The forum also highlighted the utilization of technology and innovation for eco-friendly solutions across sectors such as energy, transportation, and agriculture. Furthermore, the development of public-private partnerships to finance sustainable infrastructure projects and foster green investment opportunities was a key focus.
The session is moderated by esteemed Dean, Prof. PhD Rădulescu Irina from Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești and an Executive Member of Wallachia eHub, Romania.
